Hey there! My name is Terri and I’m a Registered Massage Therapist having graduated from the 2200 hour program at CCMH. I am also a very proud alumna of Acadia University, where I obtained my Bachelor’s of Kinesiology in 2017.

I have seen a variety of conditions while practicing as an RMT such as pre and postnatal populations, pelvic health dysfunction, MVAs, sprains and strains, fractures, postural imbalances, herniated discs, anxiety and so much more. While initially going into massage therapy school with the intentions of treating sport/orthopedic issues, I have found passion within the unknown. My competitive side definitely shows when it comes to my assessment. I enjoy finding the root causes, complicating factors or previous injuries that may be linked to your current discomfort. My treatment style is very hands-on, using a variety of pressures to suit each area, person and condition. I am trained in Gua Sha and Cupping, although I tend to prefer using my hands for most!

While at CCMH, I did a clinical rotation in a pregnancy clinic, where we saw pre and postnatal patients. I have also have over 3 years of experience working with dozens of pregnant individuals and being an integral part of their prenatal care was very fulfilling to me. I look forward to being immersed within this pelvic health world and meeting all of you!

In my spare time you can find me with my wife Alisha and our two fur babies, Nellie and Murphy. We are usually in the middle of a renovation or planning a trip. When I manage to sneak away from them, I enjoy lifting weights while listening to true crime podcasts (it’s not weird I swear). Having grown up just outside of Yarmouth, I am a huge fan of the outdoors. Summer is definitely my favorite time of the year, where I am either camping, hiking, paddle boarding or at the beach. I’m very easy to pick out of a crowd, I am either always holding a coffee or eating a snack! Cheers!

(she/her) Taylor is a Registered TCM Acupuncturist and a member of the Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Association of Canada under the Nova Scotia chapter. Being engaged in wellness and helping others her entire life, Taylor was certain her main focus was to partake in a healthcare profession where she could help individuals reach their optimum level of health.

In 2019, Taylor graduated from the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, and received her diploma in Acupuncture. During her studies, Taylor traveled to China where she explored the foundations of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture in a variety of different clinics and hospitals, experiencing the medicine first hand, alongside dedicated healthcare professionals. Taylor’s additional studies include Fertility courses/seminars, Cosmetic Acupuncture at the Ontario College of TCM in Toronto, ON and an Herbal Medicine program at Eight Branches in Toronto, Ontario.

Taylor is passionate about Chinese Medicine and is fascinated by our bodies natural healing abilities.
